NEET JEE Test Series Comparison

A Test Series is not just about checking your marks; it is a Simulation of Reality. Many students study for 12 hours a day but fail to perform because they chose a test series that was either too easy (giving false confidence) or too hard (destroying motivation).

In 2026, the market is flooded: ALLEN, Aakash, MathonGo, Physics Wallah (PW), and FIITJEE. Which one should you buy? I have categorized the answer based on your target exam (NEET vs. JEE).

PART 1: The Battle for NEET 2026

For NEET, your Bible is NCERT. Any test series that deviates from NCERT Biology is a waste of your time. Here is the comparison.

1. ALLEN (The "Shock Therapy")

Best For: High scorers aiming for AIIMS Delhi or Top Government Colleges.

The Verdict: ALLEN is known for being slightly tougher than the actual NEET exam. If you are scoring 600 in ALLEN mocks, you will likely score 650+ in the real NEET. The Physics section is calculation-heavy, which prepares you for the worst-case scenario. Their "Major Tests" have the largest pool of students, giving you the most accurate All-India Rank (AIR) prediction.

2. Aakash (The "NCERT Purist")

Best For: The majority of students. If you want consistency, go here.

The Verdict: The Aakash AIATS is legendary for a reason. Their Biology section is 100% NCERT-based, line-by-line. They rarely go out of syllabus. If you are a Type 2 or Type 3 student (scoring 300-500), Aakash builds your confidence better than ALLEN because the questions are relevant, not impossible.

Feature ALLEN Aakash (AIATS) Physics Wallah (PW)
Difficulty High (Above NEET) Balanced (Exact NEET) Moderate
Biology Relevance 90% NCERT 100% NCERT 95% NCERT
Physics Level Tough / Tricky Formula Based Variable
Price Expensive Expensive Affordable

PART 2: The Battle for JEE 2026

JEE Mains and JEE Advanced are two different games. Do not make the mistake of buying one series for both unless you are very careful.

1. MathonGo (The "King of Mains")

Best For: JEE Mains specific preparation. Not for Advanced.

The Verdict: For JEE Mains, MathonGo has no competition. Their analysis is superior to everyone else. They tell you exactly which sub-topic (e.g., "Optics - Lens Maker Formula") you are weak in. Their "Predicted Percentile" is frighteningly accurate.
Note: Do not buy this for JEE Advanced; it is strictly a Mains tool.

2. ALLEN / FIITJEE (The "Gladiators")

Best For: JEE Advanced & Students aiming for IITs (Top 2000 Rank).

The Verdict:
  • ALLEN: The best balance. Hard Mains papers and very relevant Advanced papers. If you are a dropper, their "Leader" test series is the gold standard.
  • FIITJEE (AITS): Warning Buy this ONLY if you are already scoring 200+ in Mains. Their "AITS" is famous for destroying confidence. The questions are often Olympiad level. It creates mental toughness, but it can depress an average student.

3. JEE1 (By NAMO KAUL)

Best For: JEE Advanced & Students aiming for IITs (Top Rank).

The Verdict:
  • JEE1: This one is also a good budget-friendly option. Best in material and provides an excellent exam environment on their online test platform.

Final Recommendation

Don't overcomplicate it. Here is my final advice based on your current status:

Student Type Exam My Recommendation
Struggling (< 400 Marks) NEET Aakash AIATS (Builds confidence)
Topper (> 600 Marks) NEET ALLEN (Reality check)
Mains Focused (99%ile Aim) JEE Mains MathonGo (Best Analysis)
IIT Dreamer (Advanced) JEE Adv ALLEN Leader/Score
Budget Constraint Any Physics Wallah (PW)

Remember, buying the test series is easy. Analyzing the test is where the real physics is learned. Spend 3 hours giving the test, and 4 hours analyzing your mistakes.
