Privacy Policy

Physics Bytes is a static website. There are no accounts, no logins and no database.

1. What we collect

We do not run user accounts and we do not store personal data on a server. The website itself does not set tracking cookies and does not include analytics by default. If analytics are added in future, this page will be updated.

2. Data stored in your browser

Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage (key: pb-theme) so the site remembers it. This stays on your device and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.

3. When you contact us

The contact form opens your own email app with a pre-filled message. We only receive what you choose to send. We use it solely to reply to you and do not sell or share it.

4. Third-party services

To work, the website loads or links to external services that may receive technical information such as your IP address, according to their own policies:

5. Children

Physics Bytes is made for students, including minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents or guardians who have concerns can contact us at any time.

Advertising and consent

No AdSense advertising or advertising cookies are installed in this version of the website. The following disclosures explain the intended position if advertising is enabled later; they do not mean that Google has approved this site.

If Google ads are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to show ads based on visits to sites across the Internet. Other ad networks, if enabled, will be identified here before they are used.

Users can manage personalised advertising through Google My Ad Center and review Google's advertising information. Choices for participating third-party advertising vendors are also available at aboutads.info.

Before serving ads that require consent, we must implement an appropriate consent mechanism. For personalised Google ads in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, this includes a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the applicable transparency framework. A privacy-policy paragraph alone is not a consent mechanism.

6. Your choices

You can clear local storage, block third-party requests with your browser settings, or avoid external links if you prefer. You can also ask us to delete any email correspondence you have sent.

7. Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. The latest version is always on this page.
